这最出色的二人组合，我们无法将《寂静之声》、《斯卡堡集市》、《忧愁河上的金桥》剔出尘封的记忆。每一张d版的欧美金曲精选辑，都绝对无法忽略它们的存在。何况，在我的记忆中，他们同一部不朽的电影《毕业生》，一位不朽的演员：达斯汀霍夫曼紧密地联系在一起。

眼下，是一个同声唱起骊歌的季节。没有长亭的酒，没有古道的柳，只有操场上静静飞舞的蝴蝶。我是一名十年前的毕业生，看着又一批毕业生走出了母校的大门，穿过了芙蓉花树笼罩的大街，象一群小鱼儿游向了大海。

临别时，让我们唱一首歌，好听的歌。《毕业生》的插曲是很好听的。除了《寂静之声》，我尤其喜欢《斯卡堡集市》，那感伤、悠扬的调子。大意若为："告诉她为我在海滩找一英亩地，她将成为我的爱人；告诉她用皮革镰刀收割，收获一束石南花，她将成为我的爱人。"

霍夫曼，那个青涩的毕业生如今已老了；西蒙和加芬克尔，这个梦幻的组合早也散了，依然年轻的是那穿越了时空的歌唱，在我们的忧愁河上架起了一座灿烂的金桥--踏上那座桥，就能够聆听到寂静的声音，触摸到怅惘的回忆。
